Tinsley Ellis

for exclusive representation

TinsleyH ard-rocking blues-soaked guitarist/vocalist/song-writer Tinsley Ellis sings and plays with the energy and soul of all the great Southern musicians who have come before him. Ellis attacks his music with rock power and blues feeling, following in the tradition of Deep South musical heroes Duane Allman, Freddie King, Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes. His live shows feature extended fretwork filled with melodic and rhythmic experimentation, in the spirit of jam bands like his friends Widespread Panic and The Allman Brothers. Atlanta Magazine declared Ellis "the most significant blues artist to emerge from Atlanta since Blind Willie McTell,"

Blue Mountain Artists, LLC

Welcomes

ZERO

Steve Kimock, Greg Anton, Martin Fierro, Donna Jean Godchaux,
Melvin Seals, John Morgan Kimock and Liam Hanrahan

Zero is very probably the first of the post-Dead improvisational “jam bands"

Initially an instrumental band, which would over the next 20 or so years lay a heavy improvisational groove on the Bay Area and more distant parts -- to the tune of 1300 shows, eight albums, and visits from the likes of Jerry Garcia, John Cipollina, Banana, Alex Ligertwood, Nicky Hopkins, Derek Trucks, Merl Saunders, and John Kahn.

Into the life of every band a little rain must fall, and Zero fell silent for a time. But in the past year they’ve revived, and after six years, they've returned to play exclusive dates throughout 2006. The reformed band features the stellar line-up of Steve Kimock and Greg Anton, with "Meester" Martin Fierro, Donna Jean Godchaux, Melvin Seals, Liam Hanrahan, & seventeen year old Kimock offspring, up and coming Rockstar drummer, John Morgan Kimock. And who knows what old friends will drop by on any particular night?

In any case, the Zero mix of Kimock's sonic jams, Robert Hunter songs, along with tasty covers -- all complimented by a old friends and young blood will once more caress the minds of live music crowds – and that’s not to be missed.

"ZERO consciousness returns with props for the audience, respect for the lineage, and love for our brothers and sisters," remarked Steve Kimock. "Dust off those rusty strings just one more time, relax, participate, enjoy, and in the words of John Cipollina, 'thanks for letting us pee in your pool.' "
